Wishing you a joyous Holiday Season and a fabulously smashing New Year! xo
Below is a photo from my latest trip.
I just got back from spending two weeks in Russia with a few days spent in China. It was a much needed break full of family, homemade food, rest, fun, and adventures. I always get so nervous about being disconnected from my everyday world, cell phone, internet, ect. But after a few days, I always realize it is just what I need.
I dream of more vacation days...so much to see...not enough time...
I don't know about you, but the minute September 1st hits it is full Fall mode here. Over the weekend I made Butternut Squash soup, got my first pumpkin coffee from Dunkin Donuts, and purchased a fabulous black leather jacket for fall (couldn't pass up the Labor Day deals!)! Did you take advantage of any sales?
Oh and today I wanted to share my latest piece. Beautiful isn't it? This iPhone 5 case is encrusted with rich golds. purples, and aurora borealis. I am loving all the different elements that went into it. Glitz, glam, and plenty gorgeous.
Do you ever tell yourself this to make yourself feel better? Your best is all you can do to achieve a desired result. And well sometimes, things are just out of our hands.
Dear Monday, bring it on! xo
I daydream a lot! Mostly about traveling the world and visiting the picturesque images I keep seeing on Pinterest and Instagram. So starting today, I will be sharing the places and most captivating images that make me want to quit everything I am doing and just set off to travel the world. Wouldn't that be nice?
Today, I start with Lake Como, Itatly! I have never been to Italy and it is my #2 travel destination. There are so many beautiful places to see and visit there. Plus, all the delicious food to eat! Yesterday, I was talking to a friend that has travelled many of the cities and was sharing his wonderful experiences. I cannot wait till the day I can do the same!
It has been oh so long since I have posted anything! I have been letting life happen but promise to share more fabulous things going forward. I am on Instagram, so make sure to find me there (anya_elegantlyuntamed), as I post quite frequently. Below are a few snapshots from the last few months...
I have been enjoying the summer guiltlessly and it has been fabulous! Hope you are too! xo
I am very ecstatic to announce the launch of my new site for Elegantly Untamed! It has been in the works for the last few months, aaaaand it is finally finished! I am excited to switch things up with a white back drop and to add some new features that enrich the whole experience. Please take a moment to browse the new pages! I hope you love it as much as I do! xo, anya
Travel season is upon me and I am all about organized travel. I have been shopping around for various bags recently and came upon Lug Bags. Have you heard of them?
Aren't they so fun? I think the variety of the colors is making me very excited about the warm weather. Don't you love all the compartments? Cell phone pockets are must for easy access to my blinged out phone. Check out their website for a ton more choices! They have a lllot! I love the pink wheelie at the top. Which one is your favorite?
Although this is not really a quote, it is something I remind myself often of. When days are blah and things are not what I hoped for, I remind myself to just keep going and not get hung up on negatives. I always feel better in the long run.
Hooray for Friday! This week flew by. Gosh, I just love when that happens! Do you have fun plans? Saturday will be busy. We are driving to Canada for half of a day and then hurrying back here for a birthday dinner for a good friend of mine and hopefully a night out!
Last weekend, I hosted a brunch for a few of my favs and tried some delicious new recipes that I wanted to share with you, just in case you need some new ideas!
I alwasy worry about not having enough food; so there is always a ton of food. Below was last weekend's spread...
Yum, right? Everything was delish!
Fruit and Muffins
Check out the links. The Tomato-Beet Salad by Martha Stewart was propbably the biggest hit.
Happy weekend! xo
Kind of excited for this weeks installment of the golden delights. Mainly because I purchased #3 last night! I fell in love with it as soon as it came out few months back. Can't wait for it to get here :)
Lately, I have been really obsessed with brownstones. Not quite sure why but I am really digging the style and wish I lived in one. Sadly, there none where I live; so I collect pictures on Pinterest for my imaginary someday brownstone. Cray, cray, right?
I am drawn to the grand elegance of Victorian homes. The ornate moldings, marble fireplaces, floor to ceiling windows, high ceilings, all just pull a string. Do you know what I mean? As I was browsing around online, I found the most beautiful home that was brought back to life. It has a great balance between modern and past.
Here it is...
Gorgeous, right? If I had to pick one favorite feature (so hard!), it would have to be the doors that lead out into the garden from the kitchen. What is yours? To find out more about the actual renovation, please read the article here.
Below are some other fab spaces I really like. If you like what you see, you can find more on my pinterest page here.
Took an unannounced week off last week! Thank you for understanding.
I am loving today's quote. The above was acutally pointed out to me recently. Sometimes it feels like not much progress is made but in reality a lot has changed. It is good to reflect and remind yourself of that and to continue moving forward.
Wishing you a good start to the week! xo
It has been a wonderful and productive week around here but I sure am glad it is Friday! Even though, I will be working through the weekend, I do plan to sleep in a little; so I am excited about that. Below is my week in review...
Did you notice the sneak peak at the new site? I cannot wait to launch it soon. My platform releasesd a major upgrade this week; so I am finally taking the time to switch over to the latest version.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend! xo
Valentine's Day is already tomorrow! Are you doing something special? My guy and I grabbed an early Valentines dinner last night. We also picked out each others gifts. How boring are we? Oh well.
Regardless, I still want to do a few special things tomorrow. To start the day off, I plan on making these.
Cute, right? I am excited.
I also thinking about making this deliciousness...
Gosh, my mouth is watering just writing about this. My guy has the biggest sweet tooth and loves red velvet! I think these two recipes are absolute winners.
