The first time I saw the exterior photo of this house by architect Savin Couëlle's on Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda, I gasped.
My first guess, was that it was somewhere in Greece. Built in the 1960's by Couëlle, this magical place is on the island of Sardinia, Italy. The island was developed by the Aga Khan Prince Karim al-Hussayni in the 1950/60's and these days attracts the rich and famous. It is known for great weather and for most beautiful beaches the world.
